Description

PainScale is a free pain tracking app available in the App Store and on Google Play. It was created with consultation from pain doctors and patients and features various tools to track and manage chronic pain. Users can find insights based on the information they log into the app and get access to tips, articles, videos, and more.

Overview

The app provides a personalized pain management tool for people suffering from chronic pain. Users can utilize the pain diary to enter in symptoms and pain intensity and find the recommended treatments and medications through the app. It doesn’t matter what the source of the pain is, the app has answers and content for various ailments.

The app is very customizable, so you use as many or as few of the features as you’d like.”

Customized

When you first log into the app, you are prompted to answer various questions about your symptoms, related conditions, and the treatments you have already tried. The app uses this information to customize your journey through pain management. The prompts are easy to follow and cover a wide variety of different options to allow users to feel like their needs are being met.

Pain Diary and Pain Reports

Users can log and track their pain in the Pain Diary by entering triggers, symptoms, intensity, treatment, mood, and more. Then, the Pain Diary will create a Pain Report, which is a detailed summary of your pain that can be shared with your doctor for better communication. Instead of relying on remembering your pain, utilize the app to give your doctor a better idea of what is going on with your body.

Take Control

The app doesn’t just let you log and track your pain – it actually gives you information to help you manage it. Users can take advantage of health tips and guided exercise routines, as well as articles and videos about various subjects. Users can also set reminders to take medication, stretch, or exercise. The app is very customizable, so you use as many or as few of the features as you’d like.
